When submitting an edit you can set bot=0 or bot=1 as parameter. Having the bot right which is part of the bot user group only adds the possibility to use this parameter.

Its the same for the admin group which contains the markbotedits right. So they can decide if their rollback action is also marked as bot edit, but not every rollback action of admins is marked as bot. (This feature is very useful if sb. is spamming user pages. Edits marked as bot and small are not causing a user notice on top of all pages). E.g. if you (as admin) want to rollback your own edits with bot flag set you can call http://sl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posebno:Prispevki/Yerpo?bot=1 which returns a page containing rollback links with a bot=1 parameter.
